The newly elected office bearers of the Young Catholic Students (YCS), St Sebastian Church, Bendur, took their oath of office during the 8.00 AM Holy Mass on Sunday, 28 June 2026.
The office bearers joined the entrance procession along with the main celebrant, Rev. Fr. Leo. During the Eucharistic celebration, Very Rev. Fr. Walter D’Souza, Parish Priest and Director, administered the oath of office. The liturgy was meaningfully conducted by the YCS members.
The newly elected office bearers for the year 2026-27 are:

- Joanna Pereira – Vice President
- Royston D’Souza – Secretary
- Marika D’Souza – Treasurer
- Alok Sequeira – Yuvathare Representative
- Alston Lobo – YOUCAT Representative
- Arvin D’Souza – Joint Secretary
- Riana Pinto – Cultural Secretary
- Alisha Mascarenhas – Liturgical Secretary
- Prince Alish – Sports Secretary
Following the Holy Mass, an orientation programme and team-building activities were held in the Parish Hall under the guidance of the YCS animators. The newly elected leaders were encouraged to serve with commitment, responsibility, and Christian values as they begin their journey of leadership for the year 2026-27.
